I  just watched a movie called ‘Coach Carter’. It was a dam good movie, about teamwork, resilience and getting your priorities right. WATCH IT! This movie pull your emotions to the peak at the appropriate moments. You can find the synopsis on Wikipedia. It is a bonus if you are interested in basketball.

This is my favourite scene

‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.’

‘I Have A Dream’ Parody

I know that you are unwilling to donate but just give me 1 minute for I have a dream. It is a deeply rooted Singaporean dream.

I have a dream that one day Singaporeans will stand up as one united people to help those that need help.
I have a dream that one day the less fortunate people lurking at the corners of Bishan Street will receive compassion and acts of goodwill from people who are more fortunate.
I have a dream that one day Singapore, a desert country, sweltering with the heat of cruelty and ruthlessness will be transformed into an oasis of kindness and humanity.
I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be ignored and shamed when they try to persuade other people to donate but will instead be faced with enthusiasm and respect for they are the forerunners of humanity.
