Stress

The past few days are very stressful. First, there is stress form prelim 1. Then, there is also the self imposed stress, stress over nothing.

My initial target was NJC. However, the discussions I have from the past few days filled me with the intent to aim for RJC, because I see a decent chance of getting into it if everything goes according to plan.

The plan is, getting 9A1s plus a great improvement in swimming so that I can somehow DSA in.

But, what if it does not go according to plan? I may end up with neither RJC nor NJC.

And that caused the stress. I have to work extremely hard and trust that it will somehow turned out right.

I will succeed, I am the best, I believe in miracles.

brief update

Learning Journey day was fun. We went to SAFTI. I think it was very interesting. The short video they show us was very unique. It was very cool. They had four screens surrounding us, each show a different angle and all of them were playing at the same time. To add realism to the video, they even on super big fans to blow us, to simulate a helicopter taking off,and sprayed water at us, to simulate using a battleship to cross seas. It was very very good.

The most enjoyable activity was the part where they split us up into groups to discuss on a new weapon to invent. We were supposed to be creative and invent new weapons. It was very fun. We were very busy, laughing at our ideas cos most of them were obviously impractical and were brought up for comedic effect. Ideas like the electromagnetic gun, dynamo+ solar panel outfit and the cheese gun made a lot of noise. It was very fun.

Besides learning journey, it will be injust not to share my feelings about the PT two weeks ago.

On that day, i feel like having a super hoing PT cos i think that it was very slack and there should be some changes. So, i am sorry if i killed them (you?), and myself on that day. We ran a total of 16 rounds and 360 push ups on that PT. Actually, i was hoping to be able to do this every training but some of the feedback i received were not so pleasant, so i will tone down a little next training...

Part D hands on

For the past two days, we went to air force school for some part D's 'hands on' activity. It was not bad but not perfect either. Although it says 'hands on', in fact, only one of the four activities are hands on. The rest were only talking and looking at displays. At least I learnt something...

Day 1 was quite boring. When we reached there, we have to wait for a while. So, i start working on my homework to make full use of the extra time. However, i only finished 3 questions when we were told to move to another place for the activities. In the end, i did very little homework due to the constant movement.

The activities were not so boring cos we know how to entertain ourselves.

The most interesting part of the whole trip turns out to be the bus ride back to school and the debate in air store later.

For the bus ride back to school, me, cherry and apple had a nice discussion on the time paradox, big bang, big crush and quantum physics. I learnt something new from it.

Back in air store, me and banana debated over the topic, time dilation. It is very challenging trying to get my point across. In the end, we agreed to continue the debate tomorrow.

Due to the debate, day 2 was more interesting. A lot of people joined in for the debate. The significant people leading the debate were me, apple and banana. My stand was, the speed of light is always constant in vacuum and time varies, depending on your frame of reference. Apple's stand was both the speed of light and tome can be changed. Banana's stand was time is always constant.

We had a very nice time.
