Six years ago(P5), I was a very playful and mischievous kid.
During Science period,
"Wei Xuan! #@*$^... See me during recess!"
I was relieved. At least I can have a bit of recess. Mrs Ho always let me off after serving 15 minutes of detention.
But Hu Liao Shi broke my heart.
"Wei Xuan! @#$#Z%.... See me during recess!"
"But I have to see Mrs Ho"
"Find me after seeing Mrs Ho"
At least i still have 3 minutes of recess. Perhaps that was how i lost weight.

Anecdote #1
I have decided to post a series of anecdotes so that I can share with you some of the best, and worst, moments in my life. I think that it is very meaningful.
Let me start with one of the most humorous and embarrassing experience I have. It happened two years ago.
It was supposed to be an ordinary trip with Nicholas’s house. Roy and I were supposed to go to his house for some project. To avoid confusion, we decided to take the train to AMK rather than the bus.
It was fine, until we realise that we missed the stop and end up in Yio Chu Kang instead of AMK.
But that was still ok as the mistake can be easily rectified.
We managed to arrive at the AMK station after receiving instructions from Nicholas
Upon reaching AMK, we are supposed to take bus 265 to Nicholas’s house. However, there are a lot of bus stops with bus 265, so do not know which bus stop has the correct ‘bus 265’ with would arrive at Nicholas’s house. (Actually, all are correct) So we decided to WALK all the way to his house which about 8 bus stops away.
After a nice, and long, walk, we finally arrived at the estate he lived in. We finally made it after a 1 hour walk! We dashed to his house hoping that we can finally rest after the long walk.
However, his house was nowhere to be found.
Thinking that we got the wrong address, was had another nice walk in the estate, hoping to bump into his house.
Then we realised that we were in the wrong estate.
This trip, from Bishan to AMK, took us 2 hours. =)

A*star Outreach programme
It rocks!
Day 1 was good.
Day 2 was better.
Day 3 is the best.
Many interesting things happened, like drinking a cup of $4 espresso, meeting my junior's sister, trying to meet up and get there with 'Bird', worrying about sports nite,...
It felt like a dream.
Day 3 is the best. I was worrying all day that i may not be able to make it back on time. I was super stressed and worried thoughout the day.
In the end, i (barely) make it on time, ran and got 2nd! Yeah! Nothing could be better than that.
I do not want to wake up.

weak
Today have a lot of activities. Now I feel lost, and extremely weak.
1st there is physics SPA. It was slightly harder than the other SPAs. I was very lucky. When I did my SPA, my y intercept was 3.0+. However, I remember Benedict telling me that the y intercept was 0.7-1.0. Thus, I checked my paper and realised that I made a grave error. I was lucky that Benedict told me, or I would have been DEAD.
After that was PE. My opponent was not as good as I thought...
After that it was the heats for sports nite. I participated in 1+1+1 event; 100m, 200m and high jump.
It was quite screwed up. The PE session before that had drain quite a bit of my energy, making me feel quite tired even before the race started. The 100m race was screwed up; there is a chance that I may not get into finals. 200m was worse, all the track ppl competing in that event. I came in 5th in my heat. I was so weak after the 200m race that I got someone to substitute me for high jump. I dun think I can jump well in that downtrodden state.
Now, I am down with legs that will cramp if I flex it for more than 2 seconds, weird joints and a very light head. I think I should sleep.... NOW!

time files
Time flies, all of a sudden, I realised that it is already May... and 5 months to ‘O’ levels! Shiver! Panic! Mug super hard!
But, I am still not doing so, thus I feel quite worried for myself.
This year passed in a flash, before I know it, prelim 1, POP, and many other major events, all became history. Now I feel really stressed out due to the speed time is running. I must really start mugging very hard to stay ahead of time.
5 weeks to prelim 2!

Nice day
Today is one of the nicest, and luckiest, day so far.
We had our 2.4km run test during PE. I was hoping to get a timing of 10.20+ so that i can be on par with most people. In the end, my timing is 10.03, much better than expected!
During the run, i was pacing with TYH. Thanks to him, i managed to run at a constant and relatively fast pace. Now, i am filled with a great sense pride and satisfaction for the timing i achieved. I am confident that i can get full marks for napfa.
That is PART 1.
After that i went for the C.B Paul Science Memorial Quiz at ACJC. The tests were very hard. I thought i was going to fail miserably. Little did i know that, MY TEAM MANAGED TO GET INTO THE FINAL ROUND!!! In the end, we came in 4th place among all the teams that participated. YAY!
On top of that, CSM's team got 2ND place. It is like a double victory to Cat High. We only lost narrowly to RJC, whose teams got 1st and 3rd places. But, we are still dam good. ^-^

interesting
I haven't been blogging for a very long time because the past few days was too interesting. It was so interesting that 'interesting' became a boring thing.
Lets take yesterday for example. I decided to study geography during my free time as it is the subject i hate the most and is weakest in. So, i decided to use Polya's problem solving method.
Step 1: Understand that problem
Step 2: Devise a plan
Step 3: Carry out the plan
Step 4: Review. If fail, go back to step 1.
So, i devised a plan. I am going to make the 'perfect' geography notes. The notes, rather than covering content, will cover step by step instructions to deal with specific questions instead.
The next geography test will determine if the plan works.
After that, if it fails, i will think of something else.
Now, the one million dollar question: What if the Polya's problem solving method fails?
Here are a few fun facts!
1. You cannot touch your rear molars with your tongue
2. You are trying to use you tongue to touch your rear molars now
3. You realise you can
4. You realise that it is April fools day
Today is quite interesting too. There is a variety of pranks played. First, 4-5 shifted their tables so that it faced the back of the classroom. 4-10 did something similar by shifting their tables so that it faces the windows. And our class actually collaborated with 4-5 to swap classrooms for one period after PE. Though it failed miserably, it was fun while it lasted.
