Nice day

Today is one of the nicest, and luckiest, day so far.

We had our 2.4km run test during PE. I was hoping to get a timing of 10.20+ so that i can be on par with most people. In the end, my timing is 10.03, much better than expected!

During the run, i was pacing with TYH. Thanks to him, i managed to run at a constant and relatively fast pace. Now, i am filled with a great sense pride and satisfaction for the timing i achieved. I am confident that i can get full marks for napfa.

That is PART 1.

After that i went for the C.B Paul Science Memorial Quiz at ACJC. The tests were very hard. I thought i was going to fail miserably. Little did i know that, MY TEAM MANAGED TO GET INTO THE FINAL ROUND!!! In the end, we came in 4th place among all the teams that participated. YAY!

On top of that, CSM's team got 2ND place. It is like a double victory to Cat High. We only lost narrowly to RJC, whose teams got 1st and 3rd places. But, we are still dam good. ^-^

interesting

I haven't been blogging for a very long time because the past few days was too interesting. It was so interesting that 'interesting' became a boring thing.

Lets take yesterday for example. I decided to study geography during my free time as it is the subject i hate the most and is weakest in. So, i decided to use Polya's problem solving method.

Step 1: Understand that problem
Step 2: Devise a plan
Step 3: Carry out the plan
Step 4: Review. If fail, go back to step 1.

So, i devised a plan. I am going to make the 'perfect' geography notes. The notes, rather than covering content, will cover step by step instructions to deal with specific questions instead.

The next geography test will determine if the plan works.

After that, if it fails, i will think of something else.

Now, the one million dollar question: What if the Polya's problem solving method fails?

Here are a few fun facts!
1. You cannot touch your rear molars with your tongue
2. You are trying to use you tongue to touch your rear molars now
3. You realise you can
4. You realise that it is April fools day

Today is quite interesting too. There is a variety of pranks played. First, 4-5 shifted their tables so that it faced the back of the classroom. 4-10 did something similar by shifting their tables so that it faces the windows. And our class actually collaborated with 4-5 to swap classrooms for one period after PE. Though it failed miserably, it was fun while it lasted.
